What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to get it back or corrected.

If anything here is unclear, email admin@americanroyalhighschool.com and ask before you agree to it.

1. Information we collect

We collect what you give us and a small amount about how the site is used:

  • Information you provide — name, date of birth, email, phone, address, previous school details, academic records and anything you write in a message or application.
  • Student records — coursework, grades, progress and enrollment history created while you study.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor. Full card numbers are not stored on our systems.
  • Website usage — pages visited and general device information, collected through cookies and analytics.

2. How we use it

  • To assess admission and evaluate transfer credit
  • To create and maintain your student record and graduation plan
  • To deliver coursework and provide academic and technical support
  • To communicate with you about enrollment, progress and administration
  • To process tuition payments
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we protect it

Access to student records is limited to staff who need it to do their work. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise — if a breach affects your records we will tell you.

4. When we share information

With service providers who operate the learning platform, email and payments on our behalf; with a school or organization when you ask us to release your records to them; and where required by law. That is the complete list.

5. Student privacy and FERPA

ARHS complies with applicable student privacy requirements, including the principles of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) where relevant. Students, and eligible adults acting on their own behalf, may:

  • Request access to their records
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request that ARHS release their records to a third party they choose

We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on any of these.

6. Cookies and tracking

The site uses cookies for basic function and analytics so we can see which pages help people and which do not. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will continue to work.

7. Data retention

Academic records are retained so that transcripts can be issued to you years later — that is the point of them. Inquiry and marketing data is kept only as long as it is useful and then deleted.

8. Students under 18

Applicants under 18 enroll with a parent or guardian, who has access to the student's records and receives communication about them.

9. External links

Pages here link to outside organizations, including partner and verification sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

10. Your rights and choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to send it somewhere, or unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Email us and say which.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the revision date at the top changes with it.
